Coming of the age day

On January 9, I attended the ceremony in Kagawa as adult. For this ceremony , many girls usually wear Kimono, and I was no exception. The ceremony started 1:00p.m., but i had to wear kimono and have hairdresser make me up, I went home at 8:30a.m. When everything got ready, it was 11:00a.m. I was looking forward to meeting my old friends. To my surprize,it took only 45minutes for ceremony! Preparation time was much longer than ceremony;;

After the ceremony, I attended the alumni meeting of junior high school. About 50 of 200 members gathered at once. it was 5 years since i graduated from the school, so each members is going each way. Some go to university like me, others got their job. I was very surprized that my friends got married and have her and his baby!!! I can't imagine i have my baby in this age, so that news made me feel strange... They seem very happy to talk about their marriage life, so i hope their happiness keeps going forever.

I was very glad that I could meet my old friends at that day and they remember me. Friends are precious to have. I hope the meeting party will be held in some years!!!

last day of 2005

Today is the end of 2005. Looking back to whole year, most memotable month is October. This year's ambition is to pass the examination to study abroad as an exchange student. All examinations for study abroad are held in October. Being exchange student is my goal in this university. I had prepared for each test held every week and these results were attached on the board on Wednesdays,so every Wednesday made me sick. Passing every Wednesdays I could get a seat to be an exchange student. I was very glad and felt relax. I hope studying abroad improve myself and grow up to great person.

SEKACHU

Last year a movie named 'Sekai no chushinde Ai wo sakebu' enjoyed high popularity in Japan. I've never seen the film before but I know one of the locations in the movie is in Kagawa. I wanted to go and see these place. My mother took me and my sister to there. The place used for the movie was located in Aji where I used to live during kindergartner. To my surprize, the location was near my ex-house. If I still lived in Aji, I could see famous actor and actress!!!

Driving School

This winter vacation I decided to go to driving school to get driver's licence. Driver's licence is seldom used during undergraduate, but when it comes to job hunting, this will be needed. In addition, only students have long vacation such as winter vacation. I applyed for short-term plan for about 2 weeks. The contents of the school were devided into two categolies, study and practice. In study, school teachers taught students what we have to be careful in driving and several kinds of roads sign. As I studied, Ifoung how dangerous driving is because there are many compricated signs and indication on road. There are about 90kinds of sign and 15 kinds of indications!!! There are all very important to drive safely and I'm putting them into my brain now...
There is a good thing to go to the school. I made some friends from other prefecture. They are very cute and talkative. I'm very glad to meet them. A the school has just started, I hope i can enjoy the school with them.

Strange habit of my grand parents

Last weekend I went back to my hometown to have my picture wearing kimono for coming of age day. When I visited my grand parents's house, I found something strange on the dining table. There were honey packed in the small bottle looked something unsual. There was a real big bee in the bottle!!!!! It's unbeliebable for every one but my grand parents. They said they take the honey every time after eating for their health. The honey seems better than usual one, according to them. I was really surprised to see the honey but I found they were always trying to something strange for me if some famous people like Monta Mino, popular announcer among Japanese in more than 50 years. If he said something is very good, he has great influence to my grand parents. I hope they don't be addicted too much with him.

Today I walked around two beautiful prefectures, Kyoto and Shiga with my friend. We were to meet at Kyoto station. She knew many things about Kyoto station and she invited me many good shops. After lunch, we went to Biwako, biggest lake in Japan. As it was clear day and the leaves of every tree were turning into red, we had great time watching them along the lake. The wonderful view of the lake made me refresh and gave me the motivation to get over something that I would get over from now on. While I spent that day with her, time was really going slowly. I wished this moment would continue forever. Today was very greatful day and I enjoyed very much!!!

Shopping

Last Sunday, I met my sister in Sannomiya,Hyogo and went shopping. I had been longing for meeting her because we decided to meet that day about one month ago. We lived toghether last year, so I never missed her at that time. Now I live apart and far from her home. I realized she is very important for me. She can take evrything I ordered without complaining every time. She is very kind woman, so I'm really proud of her.
On arriving Sannomiya and meeting her, we went to lunch. We both like to eat very much and Kobe is famous for sweets! We went straight to the restaurant where we decided to go. That day's lunch made us full of pleasure and our stomach satisfied. Since we eat a little bit too much, we walked as much as we could to digest the lunch seeing many attractive clothing in several shops. We really enjoyed having lunch, shopping and talking about trivial things very much, and we decided to meet again in a month. I'm looking forward to meeting her from now!!

Last Sunday, I went to Starbucks in hommachi branch. Usually cafeteria is full of customers on Sundays, but that store is not so crowded. Why there were few people is location. Hommachi branch locates in the business area which commuters work on weekdays, so they don't go there on holidays.
I arrived there at 11a.m. Entering the store, I ordered iced coffee and looked for a seat. There were few customer range in age from 20s to 50s. Several people were there, some were chatting, reading a book, others had breakfast and was studying. It seemed they individually had their own world and enjoied staying there. Outside of the cafeteria, there was a cross road and cars and behicles were always going back and forth. I was doing a home work, drinking coffee and just being there without thinking nothing. Cafeteria is not just the shop to surve beverage, but to make customers feel relax, so I like cafeteria very much.

But there is a little big problem, that is the cost. I heve to pay more than 1000yen for the cost of transportarion and coffee. I have no job now, so money is running away without coming back. So I decided to save money within 1000yen in a week as a cost for food. If I can cost within 1000yen, I let myself go to the cafeteria. I'm trying saving money now!!!
